Since establishing The Optima Collective CIC in May 2025, we've been creating opportunities for people to better understand themselves, build confidence, improve their wellbeing and connect with others.
From working with young people in schools and supporting adults in addiction recovery to bringing communities together through creative wellbeing workshops, we create welcoming spaces where people can pause, reflect, connect with others and develop a deeper understanding of themselves, encouraging greater self-awareness, emotional wellbeing and personal growth.
We're proud of what we've achieved so far, the partnerships we've developed and, most importantly, the people we've had the privilege of supporting.
What a wonderful few weeks we've had bringing people together for our Find Your Voice creative wellbeing programme in Wakefield!
Thanks to funding from Creative Minds and the generous support of Socialicious, we delivered five workshops designed to encourage self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, creativity and connection.
Through creative activities, picture cards, music, conversation and reflection, we explored different aspects of ourselves, including our inner critic, values, strengths, empowerment and hopes for the future.
Each workshop offered an opportunity to pause, reflect, explore new perspectives and connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
"Feeling less alone."
"Very welcoming and no pressure to engage."
"Thank you for allowing me to be comfortably silent."
"We need more groups like this."
"Relaxed and interesting, enjoyed being creative.”
Find Your Voice has also helped us strengthen relationships with local organisations and raise awareness of the work of The Optima Collective CIC.
A huge thank you to Socialicious for generously providing such a welcoming space and to everyone who helped us promote the workshops, including our connections at Jobcentre Plus.
We're delighted that several participants have expressed an interest in future workshops and that Socialicious is keen to continue supporting our work.
Although Find Your Voice has now finished, we're already developing more opportunities for people to come together, explore their wellbeing and connect with themselves and others.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and a special thank you to Creative Minds for making it possible!
We're excited about what comes next.
Building on the experiences, feedback and learning from our programmes, we're continuing to develop creative wellbeing workshops, group programmes and therapeutic support for individuals and communities.
Our aim remains the same: to create welcoming spaces where people feel heard, valued and supported to better understand themselves and move forward in ways that feel right for them.
